In 2007 I decided to join a running group to train for a marathon. I grew up playing basketball. I’d never run more than 4 miles at a stretch and had never raced before. After a promising first half marathon, I got hooked and I’ve been getting faster ever since. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2010, meeting one of my original goals. My current goals are a 1:15 half and a sub-16 5k.

In 2010 I PR’d in everything from the mile to the marathon.
